Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, is all about fellowship between God and His people. He tells us to build a little hut, with a branch covering for a roof. Come to Jerusalem with your family, live for
eight days in your little sukkah, and celebrate the joy of being a citizen of the Kingdom, and a child of the living God.

Sukkot is completeness, wholeness. The end of the year. That means harvest. All the crops are in. It began with barley and wheat back in the spring, when the first of the harvest came in, and the people celebrated with God in Jerusalem on Shavuot. That harvest continued all thru the summer. Now the richness and fullness of the harvest is at last ready in the fall. It is the fruit - grapes, dates, figs, pomegranates, olives, etc.

Prophetically, Sukkot is another kind of
harvest. It’s the end of the age - a harvest
of souls.
